Southwinds Golf Course Celebrates Grand Re-Opening After Major Renovations
On October 18, 2025, Southwinds Golf Course welcomed community members, local leaders and golf enthusiasts to a grand re-opening and ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the completion of a summer-long renovation project. Since May 2025, Southwinds has undergone a comprehensive transformation designed to enhance the playing experience and sustainability of the course.
Southwinds Golf Course Announced as Audubon International BioBlitz Winner for Second Year in a Row
In Audubon International’s BioBlitz, Southwinds Golf Course received the Community Engagement Award (1st place) for the second year in a row, with a total of 225 participants. The golf course team created an interactive bee-themed BioBlitz for kids and BioBlitz themed cocktails for the adults.
